Article L7222-29 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The representative of the State in the territorial collectivity alone is authorised to speak on behalf of the State before the Assembly of Martinique.

By agreement of the President of the Assembly of Martinique and the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity, the latter is heard by the Assembly of Martinique.

In addition, at the request of the Prime Minister, the representative of the State in the territorial collectivity is heard by the Assembly of Martinique.

In the cases provided for in the second and third paragraphs, the president of the Executive Council of Martinique and the executive councillors attend the meeting.

Article L7222-29

Le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale est seul habilité à s’exprimer au nom de l’Etat devant l’assemblée de Martinique.

Par accord du président de l’assemblée de Martinique et du représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale, celui-ci est entendu par l’assemblée de Martinique.

En outre, sur demande du Premier ministre, le représentant de l’Etat dans la collectivité territoriale est entendu par l’assemblée de Martinique.

Dans les cas prévus aux deuxième et troisième alinéas, le président du conseil exécutif de Martinique et les conseillers exécutifs assistent à la séance.
