Councillors to the Martinique Assembly, the President of the Executive Council and executive councillors may receive a travel allowance and reimbursement of the subsistence expenses they have incurred to take part in meetings of the Martinique Assembly, commissions, the Executive Council and the bodies of which they are ex officio members.
Disabled councillors to the Martinique Assembly and executive councillors may also benefit from the reimbursement of specific travel, accompaniment and technical assistance expenses they have incurred and which are linked to the exercise of their mandate.
Councillors to the Martinique Assembly and executive councillors may benefit from reimbursement by the local authority, on presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Martinique Assembly, of the costs of childcare or assistance for the elderly, disabled or those requiring personal assistance at home that they have incurred as a result of attending the meetings referred to in Article L. 7227-1. This reimbursement may not exceed, per hour, the hourly amount of the minimum growth wage.
They are also entitled to reimbursement of additional travel and subsistence expenses that may result from the exercise of special mandates entrusted to them by the Martinique Assembly or the Executive Council.
Other expenses related to the exercise of a special mandate may be reimbursed to them by the local authority on presentation of a statement of expenses and after deliberation by the Martinique Assembly.
The detailed rules for the application of this article shall be laid down by decree.
