Where the personal residence of the president of the Martinique assembly or the president of the executive council is located outside the conurbation that includes the commune that is the capital of the collectivity and the estate of the Martinique territorial collectivity includes one or two official dwellings, the Martinique assembly may determine by deliberation the terms and conditions under which a dwelling may be made available to them.
Where the domain of the territorial collectivity does not include such accommodation, the Martinique Assembly may, by deliberation, decide to award the President of the Martinique Assembly and the President of the Executive Council a subsistence allowance, within the limit of the daily allowances allocated for this purpose to State civil servants, in respect of the expenses they have incurred in order to be present at the chief town of the collectivity to carry out their duties.
