Article L7261-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Martinique Assembly exercises its powers under the conditions laid down in Title I of Book II of Part Three and Title II of Book II of Part Four, insofar as they do not conflict with the provisions of this Part. It supervises the Executive Council under the conditions laid down in Chapter V of Title II of this Book.

L’assemblée de Martinique exerce ses compétences dans les conditions prévues au titre Ier du livre II de la troisième partie et au titre II du livre II de la quatrième partie, dans la mesure où elles ne sont pas contraires aux dispositions de la présente partie. Elle contrôle le conseil exécutif dans les conditions prévues au chapitre V du titre II du présent livre.
