When required to protect public security, the administrative authority may prohibit a foreign national, placed under house arrest pursuant to 6° or 7° of article L. 731-3 or article L. 731-4, who has been sentenced to deportation for acts of terrorism covered by Title II of Book IV of the Criminal Code or who is the subject of a deportation order issued for behaviour related to activities of a terrorist nature, from having any contact, directly or indirectly, with certain named persons whose behaviour is related to activities of a terrorist nature.
The decision shall be in writing and state the reasons on which it is based. It may be issued for a maximum period of six months and renewed, within the same time limit, by an equally reasoned decision. This ban is lifted as soon as the conditions are no longer met or if the house arrest is lifted.
