Article L741-10 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national who is the subject of a detention order may challenge it before the liberty and custody judge, within forty-eight hours of being notified.
The decision shall be taken in accordance with the procedure laid down in articles L. 743-3 to L. 743-18.

L’étranger qui fait l’objet d’une décision de placement en rétention peut la contester devant le juge des libertés et de la détention, dans un délai de quarante-huit heures à compter de sa notification.
Il est statué suivant la procédure prévue aux articles L. 743-3 à L. 743-18.
