For the application of this book in Mayotte:
1° Articles L. 700-2, L. 722-7, L. 722-12, L. 732-8, L. 743-20, L. 751-1 to L. 751-13, L. 754-2, L. 754-4 and L. 754-5 are not applicable;
2° References to the Court of Appeal are replaced by a reference to the Appeal Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Saint-Denis de La Réunion in Mamoudzou;
3° A paragraph is added to Article L. 711-2 as follows:
“In Mayotte, foreign nationals may not benefit from assisted return but, in exceptional circumstances and subject to the existence of a viable economic project, assistance with economic reintegration, or, if accompanied by one or more minor children, support measures, under conditions defined by order of the Minister of the Interior and the Minister responsible for Overseas Territories. 4° In article L. 732-7, the words: “and, where applicable, on the possibility of benefiting from assisted return” are deleted; 5° In articles L. 741-1, L. 741-2, L. 741-10 and L. 742-1, the words: “forty-eight hours” are replaced by the words: “five days”; 6° In article L. 742-3, the words: “forty-eight hours” are replaced by the words: “five days”; 7° In article L. 742-4, the words: “forty-eight hours” are replaced by the words: “five days”; 8° In article L. 742-4, the words: “forty-eight hours” are replaced by the words: “five days”. 742-3, the words: “twenty-eight days” and the words: “forty-eight hours” are replaced by the words: “twenty-five days” and “five days” respectively;
7° Article L. 743-4 reads as follows:
“Art. L. 743-4 -When five days have elapsed since the decision to place the person in detention, the liberty and custody judge shall be asked to extend the period of detention.
“The liberties and detention judge shall rule, by order, within twenty-four hours of the referral. “
8° In article L. 743-16, the words: “and, where applicable, on the possibility of benefiting from assisted return” are deleted.
