Article L821-5 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreigner who evades or attempts to evade the enforcement of a decision refusing entry into France is liable to three years’ imprisonment.
These penalties also apply in the event of a foreigner refusing to submit to the transport arrangements designated for the ex officio enforcement of the decision refusing entry.
A foreigner convicted under this article is liable to the additional penalty of ten years’ disqualification from French territory.

Est puni de trois ans d’emprisonnement le fait, pour un étranger, de se soustraire ou de tenter de se soustraire à l’exécution d’une décision de refus d’entrée en France.
Ces peines sont également applicables en cas de refus, par un étranger, de se soumettre aux modalités de transport qui lui sont désignées pour l’exécution d’office de la décision de refus d’entrée.
L’étranger condamné en application du présent article encourt la peine complémentaire de dix ans d’interdiction du territoire français.
