Article L823-3-2 of the French Commercial code

By way of derogation from the first paragraph of Article L. 823-3, where the statutory auditor is appointed by a company voluntarily or pursuant to the first or last paragraphs of article L. 823-2-2, the company may decide to limit the term of office to three financial years.

Par dérogation au premier alinéa de l’article L. 823-3, lorsque le commissaire aux comptes est désigné par une société de manière volontaire ou en application des premier ou dernier alinéas de l’article L. 823-2-2, la société peut décider de limiter la durée de son mandat à trois exercices.
