Article L8271-14 of the French Labour Code

In addition to the labour inspectors referred to in article L. 8112-1, judicial police officers and agents, tax officers and customs officers are competent to investigate and record, by means of reports sent directly to the public prosecutor, breaches of the provisions of article L. 8231-1 relating to the prohibition on bargaining.

Outre les agents de contrôle de l’inspection du travail mentionnés à l’article L. 8112-1, les agents et officiers de police judiciaire, les agents des impôts et des douanes sont compétents pour rechercher et constater, au moyen de procès-verbaux transmis directement au procureur de la République, les infractions aux dispositions de l’article L. 8231-1 relatives à l’interdiction du marchandage.
