In addition to the labour inspectors referred to in article L. 8112-1, judicial police officers and agents, tax officers and customs officers are competent to investigate and record, by means of reports sent directly to the public prosecutor, breaches of the provisions of article L. 8231-1 relating to the prohibition on bargaining.
As part of their mission to combat horse-trading, the agents mentioned in article L. 8271-14 may ask to see estimates, order forms or work orders, invoices and contracts or commercial documents relating to horse-trading operations.
