Article LO6380-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

This article shall apply for a period of five years from the first election of the territorial council following the promulgation of the organic law no. 2007-223 of 21 February 2007 on statutory and institutional provisions relating to overseas France.

All of the acts of the institutions of the collectivity shall be transmitted to the State representative for the purposes of legality control under the conditions provided for in Chapter II of Title IV.

Le présent article est applicable durant un délai de cinq ans à compter de la première élection du conseil territorial qui suit la promulgation de la loi organique n° 2007-223 du 21 février 2007 portant dispositions statutaires et institutionnelles relatives à l’outre-mer.

L’ensemble des actes des institutions de la collectivité est transmis au représentant de l’Etat aux fins de contrôle de légalité dans les conditions prévues au chapitre II du titre IV.
