Before a digital health space is opened, the person concerned or his/her legal representative is informed by the health insurance organisation to which he/she is affiliated, by means of an e-mail sent to the address declared to the health insurance organisation, informing the person concerned of :
1° The provision of a digital health space and the procedures for its operation, as well as its relationship with the shared medical record;
2° The existence of and procedures for exercising the right to object to the opening of this space, in particular by means of an online procedure on the digital health space portal;
3° The procedures for closing the digital health space, as well as any other information useful for its operation.
If no e-mail address is available or if the e-mail cannot be sent, the information will be sent by post.
At the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the information letter is sent to the person, and in the absence of any objection from that person, the digital health space will be opened by the Caisse nationale de l’assurance maladie.
If the Caisse Nationale de l’Assurance Maladie finds that the digital health space cannot be opened for technical reasons, it will inform the person concerned without delay.
The Caisse nationale de l’assurance maladie identifies the persons eligible for the opening of a digital health space by means of the data collected by the health insurance organisations to which they belong.
