Article R1112-14 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For a referendum decided by a territorial authority other than the commune, department, region or Corsican authority, the results recorded at the level of each commune are sent to a census commission sitting with the organising authority. Articles R. 1112-11 et R. 1112-12. However, the census commission includes, in addition to its chairman appointed as described in article R. 1112-11, a person appointed by the representative of the State responsible for supervising the organising authority and a person appointed by the chairman of the executive of this authority.

Pour un référendum décidé par une collectivité territoriale autre que la commune, le département, la région ou la collectivité de Corse, les résultats constatés au niveau de chaque commune sont adressés à une commission de recensement siégeant auprès de la collectivité organisatrice. Sont applicables les articles R. 1112-11 et R. 1112-12. Toutefois, la commission de recensement comprend, outre son président désigné comme il est dit à l’article R. 1112-11, une personne désignée par le représentant de l’Etat chargé de l’exercice de la tutelle sur la collectivité organisatrice et une personne désignée par le président de l’exécutif de cette collectivité.
