The national union, at national level, may propose representatives of users of the healthcare system to the councils, assemblies and bodies for which it is laid down by regulation within them to represent users of the healthcare system, in particular within the framework of article L. 1114-1.
The regional unions may also propose representatives of users of the healthcare system to hospital and public health bodies at regional and departmental level, for which they are required by regulation to represent users of the healthcare system.
The national union and the regional unions ensure that the representatives of users with disabilities or in very precarious and excluded situations are able to benefit from support in the exercise of their mission in relation to councils, assemblies and bodies.
The statutes and internal regulations of the national union define the procedure for consultation and consultation of its members in order to nominate candidates for user representation at national and regional level in the bodies mentioned in the first paragraph of this article.
The statutes and internal regulations of the National Union shall define a users’ representative charter which shall specify the conditions for exercising the mandate of representative of users of the healthcare system.
The articles of association and the internal regulations specify the procedures for applying the consultation and consultation procedure and the procedures for publishing vacancies for user representatives at national level for the national union and at regional level for the regional unions, by delegation from the national union.
