Article R112-4 of the French Consumer Code

The administrative authority mentioned in article R. 112-1 notifies the applicant of its formal position by any means that provides proof of its date of receipt.
The agents mentioned in article L. 511-5 are responsible for making the findings relating to the situation of the professional referred to in 1° of article L. 112-6.
In the cases provided for in 1° and 3° of the same article, the competent authority shall notify the professional of its new formal position at least two weeks before it takes effect and by any means that provides proof of its date of receipt.
The order referred to in article R. 112-1 specifies the procedures for notification of the administration’s formal position.

L’autorité administrative mentionnée à l’article R. 112-1 notifie sa position formelle au demandeur par tout moyen permettant d’apporter la preuve de sa date de réception.
Les agents mentionnés à l’article L. 511-5 sont chargés d’effectuer les constatations relatives à la situation du professionnel mentionnée au 1° de l’article L. 112-6.
Dans les cas prévus aux 1° et 3° du même article, l’autorité compétente notifie au professionnel sa nouvelle position formelle au moins deux semaines avant sa prise d’effet et par tout moyen permettant d’apporter la preuve de sa date de réception.
L’arrêté mentionné à l’article R. 112-1 précise les modalités de la notification de la position formelle de l’administration.
