The contract includes a trial period of :
-four months of actual service for categories 1, 2 and 3 ;
-six months of actual service for category 1 “head of department” and management posts.
This probationary period may be renewed once for a period not exceeding its initial duration.
The probationary period does not apply when the person appointed to occupy the post is already a contract employee of the establishment, except if the appointment is to a category 1 “head of department” post or a management post.
The length of the probationary period is taken into account for promotion purposes.
