The authorisation provided for in Article R. 1131-13 is issued for a period of five years, under the conditions laid down in Articles R. 6122-23 to R. 6122-44. However, before taking the opinion of the specialised commission of the Regional Conference on Health and Autonomy competent for the health sector, the Regional Health Agency shall, by virtue of 12° of Article L. 1418-1, obtain the opinion of the Agence de la biomédecine on the application for authorisation and, where applicable, on the application for renewal.
The Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine sends his opinion to the Director General of the Regional Health Agency within two months of the date of receipt of the application.
The Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine is informed by the Director General of the Agence régionale de santé of authorisations granted and refused, as well as decisions relating to the renewal of authorisations and decisions taken in application of the procedure laid down in Article L. 6122-12.
The Agence de la biomédecine keeps an up-to-date list of authorised medical biology laboratories and makes it available to the public on its website.
The composition of the supporting file provided for in Article R. 6122-32-1 is set by order of the Minister for Health, issued after consultation with the Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine.
