The staff responsible for occupational health and safety inspections in the centres are inspectors attached to the General Inspectorate for Education, Sport and Research, carrying out their duties under the conditions set out in article 5-1 of the aforementioned decree of 28 May 1982.
However, the Board of Directors may propose, after consultation with the Social Committee of the Board of Directors or, where applicable, its specialised committee, to the President of the Regional Council to appoint agents responsible for carrying out, alone or jointly with the State services, an inspection mission under the conditions provided for inarticle 5 of decree no. 85-603 of 10 June 1985 relating to health and safety at work and to professional and preventive medicine in the local civil service.
The Director submits the Board’s decision to the President of the Regional Council and informs the Minister for Sport.
The Board’s decision specifies the purpose, geographical area and timetable of the inspection assignment.
