Article R121-1 of the French Commercial code

A collaborating spouse is considered to be the spouse of the head of a commercial, craft or liberal profession business who carries out a regular professional activity in the business without receiving remuneration and without having the status of partner within the meaning of the article 1832 of the Civil Code.
