Article R1211-2 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of the removal of elements or collection of products of the human body, including gametes, for therapeutic purposes, the health establishment carrying out the removal shall reimburse the donor, on production of the necessary supporting documents, for the costs of transport and accommodation.

A l’occasion du prélèvement d’éléments ou de la collecte de produits du corps humain, y compris des gamètes, réalisés à des fins thérapeutiques, l’établissement de santé qui réalise le prélèvement rembourse au donneur, sur production des justificatifs nécessaires, les frais de transport et d’hébergement.
