Article R123-125-1 of the French Commercial code

When the Registrar is informed that the registration of a person or an amending registration concerning that person would have been carried out by producing an irregular supporting document or deed, and the Registrar establishes that this information is of a serious nature, he shall inform the registered person by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt and invite him to produce additional supporting documents within a period of fifteen days. If this request is not complied with, the Registrar shall note the request to regularise the file in the register, together with the date on which this note was entered.

Lorsque le greffier est informé que l’immatriculation d’une personne ou l’inscription modificative la concernant aurait été réalisée par la production d’une pièce justificative ou d’un acte irrégulier, et qu’il constate que cette information revêt un caractère sérieux, il en informe par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception la personne immatriculée et l’invite à produire des justificatifs complémentaires dans un délai de quinze jours. S’il n’est pas déféré à cette invitation, le greffier porte au registre mention de la demande de régularisation du dossier ainsi que la date d’inscription de cette mention.
