Validation of the entries of information and filings of documents provided for in Article L. 123-43 and the checks provided for in Articles L. 123-44 to L. 123-47 are carried out by the president of the regional chamber of trades and crafts or, by delegation, the president of the departmental level chamber of trades and crafts competent pursuant to Articles 23 and 23-2 of the Crafts Code and within whose jurisdiction is located:
1° In the case of a natural person:
> either
a) either its main establishment carrying on an activity in the trades and crafts sector;
> or
b) Or, in the case provided for in the third paragraph of Article L. 123-10, its residential premises;

c) Or, in the absence of an establishment or the premises referred to in 2°, the commune of the place where it has elected domicile under the conditions provided for in article L. 264-1 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles ;
2° For a legal entity, its registered office. Where the registered office of the legal entity is located abroad, the competent chamber is that within whose jurisdiction the first establishment in France pursuing an activity in the trades and crafts sector is located.
When a natural person or legal entity transfers its main establishment or registered office to the jurisdiction of a chamber other than the one to which it is attached, it must declare this transfer to the single body referred to in article R. 123-1, which will immediately inform the president of the chamber to which it is attached. After validating the transfer, the president of the attached chamber informs the president of the chamber of origin by any means without delay.
