Article R123-292 of the French Commercial code

The supporting documents required for the registration of information, the filing of documents or the performance of checks by the authorities referred to in sub-section 2 of this section are determined by a joint order of the Minister of Justice and the Ministers responsible for the economy, social affairs and agriculture.

The authorities referred to in sub-section 2 of this section may request, via the single body referred to in Article R. 123-1 and under the conditions laid down in Article R. 123-7, supporting documents for the registration of information, the filing of documents or the performance of checks by the authorities referred to in sub-section 2 of this section.
The authorities referred to in sub-section 2 of this section may request, via the single body referred to in Article R. 123-1 and under the conditions laid down in Article R. 123-7, additional supporting documents from the declarant where there is doubt about the authenticity of the document produced or where its evidential value is insufficient.

Les pièces justificatives nécessaires à l’inscription d’informations, au dépôt de pièces ou à la réalisation des contrôles par les autorités mentionnées à la sous-section 2 de la présente section sont déterminées par un arrêté conjoint du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice et des ministres chargés de l’économie, des affaires sociales et de l’agriculture.

Les autorités mentionnées à la sous-section 2 de la présente section peuvent demander, par l’intermédiaire de l’organisme unique mentionné à l’article R. 123-1 et dans les conditions prévues à l’article R. 123-7, des pièces justificatives complémentaires au déclarant lorsqu’il existe un doute sur l’authenticité de la pièce produite ou lorsque sa valeur probante est insuffisante.
