Article R1232-11 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Agency’s regional delegate in the department that is the capital of the region submits an annual report to the Agency’s Director General on the work it has done to support local authorities in carrying out their regional projects.
It runs a regional funding committee made up of local representatives of operators who are members of the national coordination committee. The purpose of this regional committee is to mobilise the funds needed to support local authorities in carrying out their regional projects.

When a regional project involves more than one operator, the regional coordinator is responsible for the financing of the project.
When a regional project involves more than one département, the regional prefect appoints a regional delegate to coordinate the project.

Le délégué territorial de l’agence dans le département chef-lieu de région transmet chaque année le bilan d’activité de l’accompagnement des collectivités territoriales pour mener à bien leurs projets de territoire au directeur général de l’agence.

Il anime un comité régional des financeurs associant les représentants locaux des opérateurs membres du comité national de coordination. Ce comité régional a pour objet de mobiliser les crédits nécessaires pour accompagner les collectivités territoriales à réaliser leurs projets de territoire.

Lorsqu’un projet de territoire concerne plus d’un département, le préfet de région désigne un délégué territorial chargé de la coordination du projet.
