Article R1232-13 of the French Public Health Code

The Director General of the Agence de la biomédecine shall take all necessary measures to guarantee the security and confidentiality of all nominative information contained in the register, in accordance with the provisions of Act no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and civil liberties.

In addition, it provides information on the existence of the register and how to register; it makes a form available to the public to facilitate registration.

Article R1232-13

Le directeur général de l’Agence de la biomédecine prend toutes les mesures nécessaires pour garantir la sécurité et la confidentialité de l’ensemble des informations nominatives contenues dans le registre, conformément aux dispositions de la loi n° 78-17 du 6 janvier 1978 relative à l’informatique, aux fichiers et aux libertés.

En outre, il diffuse une information sur l’existence du registre et les modalités d’inscription sur celui-ci ; il met à la disposition du public un imprimé destiné à faciliter cette inscription.
