Article R1233-21 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The staff representatives appoint, for the duration of the term of office, from among the titular or alternate representatives, a secretary responsible for the administrative management of the social and cultural activities as well as, from among the titular representatives, a treasurer responsible for monitoring the budget for the social and cultural activities provided for in articles L. 2312-78 and L. 2312-80 of the Labour Code. Their tasks may be specified in the internal regulations provided for in article R. 1233-22 of this code.

Article R1233-21

Les représentants du personnel désignent pour la durée du mandat, parmi les représentants titulaires ou suppléants, un secrétaire chargé de la gestion administrative des activités sociales et culturelles ainsi que, parmi les représentants titulaires, un trésorier chargé du suivi du budget des activités sociales et culturelles prévues aux articles L. 2312-78 et L. 2312-80 du code du travail. Leurs missions peuvent être précisées dans le règlement intérieur prévu à l’article R. 1233-22 du présent code.
