In addition to its Chairman, the Board of Directors comprises:
1° A college made up of eight members representing the State:
a) A representative of the Minister for Health;
b) A representative of the Minister for the Environment;
c) A representative of the Minister for Labour;
d) A representative of the Minister for Agriculture;
e) A representative of the Minister for Consumer Affairs;
f) A representative of the Minister for the Budget;
g) A representative of the Minister for Research;
h) A representative of the Minister for Industry;
2° A college made up of :
a) Two members representing environmental protection associations approved at national level, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 141-1 of the Environment Code;
b) Two members representing consumer protection associations approved at national level, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 411-1 of the Consumer Code;
c) One member representing associations active in the field of health quality and patient care approved at national level, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 1114-1 of this Code;
d) Two members representing associations providing assistance to victims of accidents at work or occupational illnesses represented on the Fonds d’indemnisation des victimes de l’amiante (Asbestos Victims Compensation Fund);
3° A college made up of six representatives of professional organisations appointed by the supervisory ministers, whose members’ activities fall within the Agency’s remit;
4° A college made up of :
a) Five members representing the most representative employee trade union organisations at national level;
b) Three members representing cross-industry employers’ organisations at national level;
5° A college made up of two elected representatives appointed by the Association des maires de France and the Assemblée des départements de France, and one qualified personality chosen for their expertise in the areas covered by the agency’s remit;
6° Three representatives of the agency’s staff elected by the staff in accordance with the procedures defined by the agency’s internal regulations.
