In the event of non-compliance with an application for registration, the applicant will be notified and given reasons. The applicant is given two months to regularise the application or submit observations. In the absence of regularisation or observations allowing the objection to be removed, the application is rejected by decision of the Director General of the National Institute of Industrial Property.
The notification may be accompanied by a proposal for regularisation. In this case, the proposal is deemed to have been accepted if the applicant does not contest it within the two-month period allowed.
