I.-The nuclear activities defined in Article R. 1333-104 and included on a list drawn up by decision of the Nuclear Safety Authority approved by the Minister responsible for radiation protection are subject to registration.
This decision is drawn up taking into account, in particular, the justification for the nuclear activity, the characteristics of the ionising radiation sources, their design, their conditions of use and the measures planned to ensure effective protection of people and the environment. It may be based on the results of the generic review carried out pursuant to Article R. 1333-135. This decision may impose general requirements specific to the category of nuclear activity for the performance of the nuclear activities concerned.
II – If a nuclear activity mentioned in I is carried out by the same person in charge in the same establishment as a nuclear activity subject to authorisation, a single application for authorisation may be submitted for all the nuclear activities. If necessary, the Nuclear Safety Authority will issue an authorisation covering all the nuclear activities carried out.
The provisions of the previous paragraph do not apply to nuclear activities carried out for the purposes of research involving humans or medical, dental, forensic or veterinary diagnosis.
