Article R1333-119 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The application for authorisation must be accompanied by a file containing :

1° A description of the nuclear activity to be carried out and the reasons for this ;

2° General information about the establishment and the organisation of radiation protection, including the appointment of the radiation protection advisor referred to in Article R. 1333-18 ;

3° Detailed information on the sources of ionising radiation, the installation housing them and information on the means and measures for protecting the interests mentioned in Article L. 1333-7 against the risks or inconveniences resulting from ionising radiation linked to the exercise of this activity or to malicious acts.

II – Where the application relates to the use, outside any fixed installation, of ionising radiation sources, products or devices containing them, the dossier shall contain a description of the conditions of their transport, use and storage, including the means and measures for protection against the risks or inconvenience resulting from ionising radiation associated with malicious acts.

Article R1333-119

I.-La demande d’autorisation est accompagnée d’un dossier comportant :

1° Une description de l’activité nucléaire dont l’exercice est envisagé et sa justification ;

2° Des informations générales sur l’établissement et l’organisation de la radioprotection dont la désignation du conseiller en radioprotection mentionné à l’article R. 1333-18 ;

3° Des informations détaillées sur les sources de rayonnements ionisants, l’installation les abritant ainsi que des informations sur les moyens et mesures de protection des intérêts mentionnés à l’article L. 1333-7 contre les risques ou inconvénients résultant des rayonnements ionisants liés à l’exercice de cette activité ou à des actes de malveillance.

II.-Dans le cas où la demande porte sur une utilisation, en dehors de toute installation fixe de sources de rayonnements ionisants, de produits ou de dispositifs en contenant, le dossier contient la description des conditions de leur transport, de leur utilisation et de leur entreposage, y compris pour ce qui concerne les moyens et mesures de protection contre les risques ou inconvénients résultant des rayonnements ionisants liés à des actes de malveillance.
