I. – Registration may be carried out or authorisation may be issued for a limited period depending on the nature of the nuclear activities carried out, the specific features of the establishment, the installation, the premises and the characteristics of the ionising radiation sources or their conditions of use.
II. – For medical applications of ionising radiation, when the authorisation or notification of the registration decision is issued to a legal entity, the latter must designate, for the speciality concerned, a coordinating doctor, holding the required qualifications, responsible for ensuring the coordination of the measures taken to ensure the radiation protection of patients. In this case, the application for authorisation or registration is co-signed by the coordinating doctor. The Nuclear Safety Authority is informed of any change of coordinating doctor.
