I.-The radiation protection inspectors mentioned in the second paragraph of Article L. 1333-29 are appointed :
1° By order of the Minister for Defence, on the proposal of the delegate for nuclear safety and radiation protection for defence-related installations and activities, for the nuclear installations and activities mentioned in Article L. 1333-15 of the Defence Code;
2° By order of the Minister of Defence for the inspection of other defence-related facilities and activities, for which article R. 8111-12 of the Labour Code applies.
II – To carry out their duties, the radiation protection inspectors designated in I are authorised under the conditions laid down in articles R. 2311-7 and R. 2311-8 of the Defence Code relating to the protection of national defence secrets.
III – The delegate for nuclear safety and radiation protection for defence-related facilities and activities mentioned in article L. 1333-15 of the Defence Code issues each designated agent with a professional card specifying their area of expertise.
IV – The Minister of Defence shall issue each agent designated under 2° of I with a professional card specifying his or her area of competence.
