Article R1333-6-3 of the French Public Health Code

I.-The person in charge of a facility referred to in I of Article R. 1333-6-1 shall define the acceptance specifications for substances entering the facility and the procedures for checking compliance with these specifications.

II.-He shall have the radionuclide mass activity concentration measured in the products resulting from the recovery operation, in order to check compliance with the conditions referred to in II of Article R. 1333-6-1.

III.-He shall draw up and keep up to date a file containing the results of the radiological characterisations carried out pursuant to I and II of this article, indicating the related resources implemented in the facility and mentioning: 1° A description of the radiological characterisations carried out in accordance with I and II of this article.It draws up and keeps up to date a file containing the results of the radiological characterisations carried out in application of I and II of this article, indicating the related resources put in place in the installation and mentioning:

1° A description of the radiological characterisations, the conditions for carrying out and checking the measurements taken and the conditions for dealing with any anomalies or incidents;

2° A report on the progress of the characterisations enabling the conditions under which they were carried out and their results, as well as the substances and products concerned, to be traced.

IV.-Each batch marketed is identified by a unique number recorded in a register set up for this purpose.

V.-The competent administrative authority may at any time require the person responsible, at the latter’s expense, to have compliance with the provisions of this article verified by an external body chosen by the person responsible in agreement with the authority.

Article R1333-6-3

I.-Le responsable d’une installation mentionnée au I de l’article R. 1333-6-1 définit des spécifications d’acceptation des substances entrant dans l’installation et les modalités de contrôle du respect de ces spécifications.

II.-Il fait procéder à la mesure de la concentration d’activité massique en radionucléide dans les produits résultant de l’opération de valorisation, afin de contrôler le respect des conditions mentionnées au II de l’article R. 1333-6-1.

III.-Il établit et tient à jour un dossier comportant les résultats des caractérisations radiologiques effectuées en application des I et II du présent article, indiquant les moyens afférents mis en place dans l’installation et mentionnant :

1° La description des caractérisations radiologiques, des conditions d’exécution et de contrôle des mesures effectuées et des conditions de traitement des anomalies ou incidents éventuels ;

2° Le compte rendu du déroulement des caractérisations permettant la traçabilité des conditions de leur exécution, de leurs résultats ainsi que les substances et les produits concernés.

IV.-Chaque lot commercialisé est identifié par un numéro unique consigné dans un registre mis en place à cet effet.

V.-L’autorité administrative compétente peut prescrire à tout moment au responsable, aux frais de celui-ci, de faire procéder à la vérification, par un organisme extérieur choisi par lui en accord avec elle, du respect des dispositions du présent article.
