I.-The representative of the State in the département manages the situations referred to in article R. 1333-90 on the basis of the data provided by the person responsible for the nuclear activity and the assessment resources made available to him by the relevant ministerial departments, the bodies under their supervision, at both local and national level, and by the safety authorities.
The latter provide it with opinions and information, in particular concerning the characterisation of the radioactive pollution, the resulting potential exposure to ionising radiation for the people concerned, any changes in the situation and proposals for managing the situation.
Exposure to ionising radiation is assessed in accordance with the procedures defined by articles R. 1333-23 and R. 1333-24.
II – The representative of the State in the département sets up a system to inform and support the population affected by these situations.
III -The representative of the State in the department shall, if necessary, make the necessary contacts with the authorities of border States.
