The lead exposure risk report is drawn up by a person meeting the conditions of Article L. 271-6 of the French Construction and Housing Code.
For the purposes of article L. 1334-7, the lead exposure risk report must have been drawn up less than six years prior to the date on which the rental contract is signed. However, there is no time limit on its validity if the report certifies that there are no coverings containing lead, or indicates that the concentration of lead in the coverings is below the thresholds defined by the decree provided for in the same article L. 1334-7.
