The declaration provided for in Article R. 1342-13 includes the following information:
1° The existing name or names of the mixture in question ;
2° The qualitative and quantitative composition of the mixture; where the mixture comprises one or more mixtures, the composition of which is not known to the declarant, the latter shall indicate the trade name and contact details of the supplier of the mixture or mixtures and shall forward the safety data sheet where this is required under the provisions of Article R. 4411-73 of the Labour Code;
3° Types of commercial packaging;
4° Types of use;
5° Physical properties;
6° Nature and characteristics of dangerous effects;
7° Special precautions for use;
8° The safety data sheet when required in accordance with the provisions of Article R. 4411-73 of the Labour Code;
9° The label provided for in Article 17 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2008.
The documents to be supplied are drawn up in French. They must be sent electronically or, if this is not possible, by any other means, in accordance with the procedures defined by order of the ministers responsible for health, labour, the environment, industry and agriculture.
Importers or downstream users shall, where appropriate, inform the designated body referred to in article R. 1342-13 of any information the dissemination of which they consider likely to result in the disclosure of business secrets. However, these provisions may not prevent the provision of the information mentioned in the second paragraph of Article R. 1342-18. If, at a later date, the declarant itself makes public declarations that were previously confidential, it must inform the designated body mentioned in article R. 1342-13.
