Meeting on the initiative of the oldest member, the Conciliators’ Conference chooses a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman from among its members to assist it. They are elected for the duration of the Olympiad. This election takes place by secret ballot. The Conciliators’ Conference may validly deliberate if at least half of its members are present. If this quorum is not reached, a new meeting is held within a fortnight and the conference then deliberates validly without a quorum requirement. In the event of a tie, the oldest member has the casting vote.
