The Steering and Dialogue Committee has at least ten and at most twenty members. The number of members is set within these limits by the Board of Directors.
These members are appointed for a term of four years, renewable once, by decision of the Chairman of the Board of Directors after approval of the list of members by the Board of Directors, from among persons recognised for their knowledge and experience in the Agency’s areas of competence, and after examination of their links of interest, within the meaning of the provisions of article L. 1451-1.
In the event of a vacancy, they are replaced under the same conditions for the remainder of the term of office of the person they are replacing.
The duties of a member of the Committee are incompatible with membership of any other body of the Agency and with any contractual relationship with it.
The Committee elects its Chairman from among its members.
It is convened by its Chairman or at the request of the Managing Director and meets at least twice a year.
The operating procedures of the Committee are defined by the Agency’s internal rules.
