I.-The Director General of the Regional Health Agency organises vigilance missions relating to health products at regional level. To this end:
1° After obtaining the opinion of the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé, he shall designate one or more health establishments to house the centres and coordinators referred to in Article R. 1413-61-3 ;
2° He shall organise the pooling of resources and the support and coordination missions for health professionals referred to in 3° of the I of Article R. 1413-61-4 while respecting the expertise and skills specific to each vigilance centre;
3° It coordinates communication and promotes these missions among healthcare professionals within the framework of the regional vigilance and support network;
4° It ensures that the managers of the centres and coordinators mentioned in Article R. 1413-61-3 have the appropriate professional skills, in coordination with the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé, and that their territorial coverage enables them to provide support to healthcare professionals.
II-The procedures for implementing vigilance missions are the subject of an agreement, in accordance with a standard agreement laid down by order of the Minister for Health, concluded between the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé and the Director General of each health establishment within which these missions are carried out or attached, in consultation with the heads of the centres and coordinators mentioned in Article R. 1413-61-3.
III – The procedures for collaboration between the Director General of the Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé and the Directors General of the regional health agencies with a view to carrying out their respective vigilance missions are defined in the agreement mentioned in II.
