Article R142-11 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

Whenever a councillor is to be elected, the Governor sets the date of the ballot. This date must be announced no later than the thirtieth day before the day fixed for the ballot.

Employees wishing to stand for election must notify the Governor of their candidacy by registered letter. This letter must reach the Governor no later than the fifteenth day before the day fixed for the ballot. The Governor shall immediately acknowledge receipt of such letter.

Chaque fois qu’il y a lieu d’élire un conseiller, le gouverneur fixe la date du scrutin. Cette date doit être annoncée au plus tard le trentième jour avant celui qui est fixé pour le scrutin.

Les agents qui désirent se présenter aux suffrages du personnel doivent notifier leur candidature par lettre recommandée adressée au gouverneur. Cette lettre doit parvenir au gouverneur au plus tard le quinzième jour avant celui qui est fixé pour le scrutin. Le gouverneur accuse aussitôt réception de cet envoi.
