Article R142-3 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The General Council shall meet as often as the interests of the Banque de France require, and at least six times a year, at the invitation of the Governor.

It meets on an extraordinary basis when requested to do so by at least half of the members of the General Council or by the Censor.

Le conseil général se réunit aussi souvent que l’intérêt de la Banque de France l’exige, et au moins six fois par an, sur convocation du gouverneur.

Il se réunit à titre extraordinaire lorsque la demande en est faite, soit par la moitié au moins des membres du conseil général, soit par le censeur.
