Article R1435-9-10 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of a break in medical activity due to maternity, paternity or adoption, aid is paid to the doctor practising as a substitute if the following conditions are met:

1° Having worked as a substitute under the contract for the start of practice during the three months prior to the month in which the work stoppage begins;

2° Having reached, during the three months prior to this work stoppage, the minimum income threshold required in application of articles R. 1435-4 and R. 1435-9-7 ;

3° Provide the Regional Health Agency with proof of the interruption of work within forty-eight hours.

Article R1435-9-10

En cas d’interruption d’activité médicale pour cause de maternité, paternité ou adoption, une aide est versée au médecin exerçant en tant que remplaçant dès lors que les conditions suivantes sont remplies :

1° Avoir exercé ses remplacements au titre du contrat de début d’exercice au cours des trois mois précédant le mois au cours duquel débute l’arrêt de travail ;

2° Avoir atteint, au cours des trois mois précédant cet arrêt de travail, le seuil minimal de revenus exigé en application des articles R. 1435-4 et R. 1435-9-7 ;

3° Fournir à l’agence régionale de santé, dans les quarante-huit heures, un justificatif d’interruption de travail.
