Article R1454-25 of the French Labour Code

At the end of the hearing, and if the decision is not handed down immediately, the chairman shall inform the parties of the date on which the judgment will be delivered, where appropriate by making it available at the court registry.

If the President decides to postpone delivery of the judgment to a later date, he shall notify the parties by any means. This notice shall include the reasons for the postponement and the new date on which the judgment will be delivered.

A l’issue des débats et si la décision n’est pas immédiatement rendue, le président indique aux parties la date à laquelle le jugement sera prononcé, le cas échéant par sa mise à disposition au greffe de la juridiction.

S’il décide de renvoyer le prononcé du jugement à une date ultérieure, le président en avise les parties par tous moyens. Cet avis comporte les motifs de la prorogation ainsi que la nouvelle date à laquelle la décision sera rendue.
