Article R15-33-36 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

As soon as he is authorised pursuant to the provisions of the first paragraph of Article R. 15-33-35, the mediator or the public prosecutor’s delegate shall take the following oath before the judicial court or the court of appeal:

“I swear to carry out my duties rigorously, loyally, impartially and with dignity and to respect professional secrecy. “

This oath is also taken by the natural persons representing the authorised legal entities mentioned in 7° of article R. 15-33-32.

Dès qu’il est habilité en application des dispositions du premier alinéa de l’article R. 15-33-35, le médiateur ou le délégué du procureur de la République prête devant le tribunal judiciaire ou devant la cour d’appel le serment suivant :

” Je jure d’exercer mes fonctions avec rigueur, loyauté, impartialité et dignité et de respecter le secret professionnel. ”

Ce serment est également prêté par les personnes physiques représentant les personnes morales habilitées, mentionnées au 7° de l’article R. 15-33-32.
