Article R2112-11 of the French Public Health Code

The doctor in charge of the departmental maternal and child protection service must be a permanent member of staff and meet the conditions set out in article R. 2112-9; he or she must also have at least three years’ professional experience in a departmental maternal and child protection service.

Le médecin responsable du service départemental de protection maternelle et infantile doit avoir la qualité d’agent titulaire et remplir les conditions fixées à l’article R. 2112-9 ; il doit, en outre, avoir acquis une expérience professionnelle de trois ans au moins dans un service départemental de protection maternelle et infantile.
