Article R2112-3 of the French Public Health Code

The medico-social actions mentioned in 2° and 4° of article L. 2112-2 and concerning children under the age of six are intended in particular to ensure, through consultations and preventive examinations of children carried out in particular in nursery schools, the monitoring of the child’s growth and physical, psychomotor and emotional development as well as the early detection of anomalies or deficiencies and the carrying out of vaccinations.

Les actions médico-sociales mentionnées au 2° et 4° de l’article L. 2112-2 et concernant les enfants de moins de six ans ont notamment pour objet d’assurer, grâce aux consultations et aux examens préventifs des enfants pratiqués notamment en école maternelle, la surveillance de la croissance staturo-pondérale et du développement physique, psychomoteur et affectif de l’enfant ainsi que le dépistage précoce des anomalies ou déficiences et la pratique des vaccinations.
