Article R212-4 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The authorisation to operate a cinematographic entertainment establishment lapses on expiry of a period of two years from the date of transmission to the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée of the last revenue declaration form or the equivalent file.

L’autorisation d’exploiter un établissement de spectacles cinématographiques devient caduque à l’expiration d’un délai de deux ans à compter de la date de transmission au Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée du dernier bordereau de déclaration de recettes ou du fichier en tenant lieu.
