Article R213-8 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The mediator may issue an injunction specifying the measures he considers likely to put an end to the disputed situation.

The injunction is notified to the parties by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by electronic registered letter within the meaning of article R. 53 of the French Post and Electronic Communications Code.

A copy of the injunction is sent to the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.

Le médiateur peut émettre une injonction précisant les mesures qui lui paraissent de nature à mettre fin à la situation litigieuse.


L’injonction est notifiée aux parties par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception ou par lettre recommandée électronique au sens de l’article R. 53 du code des postes et des communications électroniques.


Une copie de l’injonction est adressée au président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
