Article R2131-26-3 of the French Public Health Code

With a view to the application of the therapy mentioned in the third paragraph of Article L. 2131-4-1, cells from the umbilical cord blood of the child born from the transfer of the embryo in utero are collected at birth under the conditions defined in Article L. 1221-5 . This collection is carried out in a health establishment authorised in accordance with the provisions of article L. 1242-1. These cells are prepared, stored, distributed and transferred with a view to this therapy under the conditions set out in article L. 1243-2.

En vue de l’application de la thérapeutique mentionnée au troisième alinéa de l’article L. 2131-4-1, le prélèvement des cellules issues du sang de cordon ombilical de l’enfant né du transfert de l’embryon in utero s’opère à la naissance dans les conditions définies à l’article L. 1221-5. Ce prélèvement est réalisé dans un établissement de santé autorisé selon les dispositions de l’article L. 1242-1. Ces cellules sont préparées, conservées, distribuées et cédées en vue de cette thérapeutique dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 1243-2.
